Highlights: It was all a highlight! Maritime interdiction operations in the south Carribean was my first operational deployment, and the best of them all! The crew was top notch, the op was a real mission, and the AOR could not be beat. After that, Desert Shield/Storm brought me home to a new life, and solo orders back to Pensacola where my career started...what a dream come true in disguise. My post AD career led to a host of AD recall opportunities support overseas operations, combat support, and intelligence operations supporting various OGAs. And as they say, one thing led to another and here I am. Living in Northern Virginia currently, working and living another dream come true. Growing up in E. TN I dreamed something, and unbelievable it has all come true....I'm blessed, and a big part of it is due to my Shipmates who helped me and watched me grow up, and took care of me as I was kinda |
