Highlights: Spent a little over 18 months in flight training. Commissioned in Pensacola, received wings in Beeville. First tour as flight instructor in VT26 in T2C. Fleet tour with VA85 flying the A6, CVW17 aboard the Forrestal. During in flight refueling, had a double engine flameout in the A6 at 5000 feet. Restarted both engines and landed aboard the Forrestal with the refueling basket on the refueling probe. |
