Highlights:
I received my wings on 23 Dec 1965 in Corpus Christi, TX. I flew P2Vs and P-3Bs in VP24 my first tour after which I left the Navy to fly as copilot on stretch DC-8s for Seaboard World Airlines. I came back on active duty in March of 1970 and reproted to VP-30 as a flight instr. I spent two years as the AIRLANT NATOPS Evaluator in the P-3 from 1972 to 1974. I was then assigned as the ANav onboard the Indy and made two 9 month deployments to the Med. I completed my undergraduate degree after leaving Indy and reported to VP44 in 1978 where I flew the P-3 Update Two aircraft on deployment to Iceland. I was assigned as the Safety NATOPS on the PATWINGSLANT Staff until May of 1981 when I reported to VT-31 as XO/CO. I was assigned as Chief Of Staff for ASW Operations on the COMFAIRKEF Staff from 1983 until mid 1985 after which I reported to the Naval War College as the American
