Highlights: VF-1 at Saufley Field, off to NAS Meridian for T-2's and A-4's. Got lucky and headed to Fightertown,USA VF-124 then VF-24, and flew for Moon Vance. RAG as an instructor next then off to Pensacola for a tour with the Blue Angels. Flew with Jungle Jim Ross and Andy Truman Caputi in the solo program. Got out, flying for Northwest Airlines, did the reserves with VFC-13 at Miramar, what all squadrons should be like and retired after 24 years. It was a good ride.... |
