Highlights:
Completed flight training in ATU-400 flying TBMs then plowed back to South Whiting teaching in SNJs, and later the newly introduced T-34. Then to the fleet, VA-115 flying AD-6s with a WestPac followed by a year in active reserves flying F9F-8s. Back on active duty in 1960 and back to Whiting Field teaching in T-28 in VT-2 Flight Three. Last half of this tour as academic instructor teaching special weapons. Then it was to VAW-11 flying E1Bs as a CAPC and a Vietnam tour at Yankee Station in Constellation. I then transferred to the Coast Guard and flew another ten years in Hu-16s, C-130s, and HH-52As, accumulating about 6000 military flight hours.
