Highlights: I served two years in the USMCR prior to the NavCads, Class 4-55. After Basic, I was assigned to NAS Chase Field, Beeville, TX and just before graduating, decided that I wanted to fly for the airlines and DOR'd. When I applied for a first-class medical, I could not pass the eye exam-turns out, I had a depth-perception problem, which probably accounts for the hard landings I had made, especially during FCLPs. |
